Using Google+ or Twitter, users wanting to be one of the first with Glass were to explain in 50 words or less what they would do with the technology and entered by using the hashtag #ifihadglass and following @projectglass. If chosen, users have to buy the explorer pack for 1500$ and attend an informational...

Go-Go Gadget Watch
The New York Times reports Apple is experimenting with a curved, glass, smart wristwatch.
The glass looks pretty amazing and we bet the technology behind the watch itself will be equally amazing.

Summer in the City V - SUCCESS
Since the final numbers aren’t in yet for the American Cancer Society’s Summer in the City V, we can’t say for sure how successful the evening was but we can say that it was a HUGE success we raised MUCH more money than last year’s event (and all others for that matter). We are extremely excited and proud of the event’s success. Not only was this a fun event to plan...
What have we been doing?
What have we been doing? Research. Lots and lots of social media research. But it’s okay, we do it all the time. For clients and for ourselves. We’re big on having every ounce of knowledge we can about trends in social media, new outlets and new ways to use old outlets. This particular client was interested in knowing what their competitors were up to. And boy did we tell them!

How much time do you spend on Facebook?
Or on CNN, ESPN, Vogue, Pintrest, your favorite blogs, etc.? There’s a new plugin that will tell you just that. We’ll be signing up (it’s just in Beta currently) and let you know where we spend our time. I have a feeling that there’s going to be a lot of time logged on FB. But hey, that IS our job!
Social media does not equal Facebook
We hear it a lot - “We need to have a Facebook page.” Many companies think that Facebook is the only social media platform out there but that’s simply not the case. Depending on the type of company you are helps determine which social media platform you use. If you are a B2B company, Facebook may not be the platform of choice. Consider LinkedIn. If you are a restaurant, a...
Does someone need to own social media?
How does it work in your company? Is social media OWNED by a specific person or department? There are many ways social media could be managed, but should it be owned? Or if it’s owned, maybe it’s owned by everyone. Communications, HR, sales, customer service…it takes all these departments to run a company, what’s the difference in running social media? It could get...
Stats for Fortune 100 companies
We’ve been researching social media for a client and we came across these interesting statistics. They’re a little over a year old but are still relevant and interesting. At least 79 percent of Fortune 100 companies are using at least one of the most popular social media platforms. That’s a lot considering it seems that the bigger the company the bigger the fear. We’re...
