What would you do with Glass?

The deadline for applications to try out Google’s new invention, Glass, is today. Using Google+ or Twitter, users wanting to be one of the first with Glass were to explain in 50 words or less what they would do with the technology and entered by using the hashtag #ifihadglass and following @projectglass. If chosen, users have to buy the explorer pack for 1500$ and attend an informational session in New York, San Francisco, or LA. May we just say, what a beautiful use of social media! Especially with trying to revitalize the old Google+ there! 

If you haven’t checked out all that Glass has to offer yet, you should! It’s a handsfree device that allows you to take pictures, videos, and share what you see with friends. It also has the ability to give you directions and pull information from the web, allowing you to see it right there in your glasses. All you have to do is ask Glass to do what you need it to do.  

So, what would you do with Glass? Mace + Carmichael would definitely have some fun with it-

MAINx24 is still 11 months away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get a head start on planning it! Okay, truth is we just wish MAINx24 lasted all year so we decided to start getting things going. And oh boy have we! Things to look forward to so far: a brand new website, a nifty new smartphone application, and of course, some killer parties and events. We can’t wait for you all to see it!

Final Numbers are In!

Final numbers are in!  We raised $78,359 for the American Cancer Society at this year’s event (that is $23k MORE than last year). Thanks so much to everyone for all your support! It was an amazing night for an amazing cause and it couldn’t have been done without all our great supporters.  Thanks!

Summer in the City V - SUCCESS

Since the final numbers aren’t in yet for the American Cancer Society’s Summer in the City V, we can’t say for sure how successful the evening was but we can say that it was a HUGE success we raised MUCH more money than last year’s event (and all others for that matter). We are extremely excited and proud of the event’s success. Not only was this a fun event to plan and promote, it was for a great cause very important to us both.
